BDO Among Norway’s 10 Best Employers

BDO Norway achieved a 10th place in the Great Place to Work (GPTW) survey 2014. This makes BDO Norway the only firm in its industry that was ranked top 10 in the category “large businesses”. The survey is based
on employee surveys covering more than 50 questions.

"We are very proud of our top 10 position in this well reputed survey. Our employees are highly educated, smart, and not least, critical. That they view BDO as such a great place to work is not something we take for granted", says Trond-Morten Lindberg, Managing Partner of BDO Norway.

The winner in the category 'large businesses' was Webstep. Microsoft and Steria came second and third. All businesses with more than 20 employees can participate in the survey. 'Great Place to Work' cooperates with several professional service firms in the Norwegian market. They cooperate with all the large players in the industry in one or more countries, but several of their Norwegian collaborators still do not participate. Perhaps they do not dare? BDO’s impressive performance may spur them on.

"BDO is growing very rapidly and with employees that believe they work in a fantastic company" says Jannik Krohn Falck, founding partner of Great Place to Work in Norway. BDO's Trond-Morten Lindberg says: “We will continue to chase competition in the Norwegian marketplace”.

Jannik Krohn Falck is responsible for the survey identifying Norway’s best employers, which is based on an extensive cultural analysis in addition to the employee survey. The survey covers trust between management and employees, pride in their workplace and community feeling at work.
